7 reasons why it is important to say what you believe

Have you ever wondered why your faith doesn’t seem to work? Many Christians really believe in the word of God, but receive less because they are ignorant of how faith works. As such, faith is not difficult to produce results if you know how it works. Therefore, an important way to put your faith into practice is to speak more. This article explains why talking more than you think blesses in the end.

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore we speak – 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV).

Because truly I tell you that anyone who says to this mountain: “ Move and throw yourself into the sea ”, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that the things he says will be done, he will obtain everything he says. – Mark 11:23 (NKJV).

The great challenge

It is very frustrating to believe in the word of God and not receive the desired result. So what is the problem? One area to consider is your consistency in saying what you believe; many Christians are failing it right now. Therefore, it is not enough to believe the word of God in your heart (the enemy also believes it and trembles); what matters most is saying what you believe. Then you will only have what it says and not what it doesn’t say!

You may have prayed God’s word (this is important), but have you said it? Surely when you give voice to what you believe you activate it and make it work. Therefore, God is waiting for you to say what you believe in order to deliver the desired answer.

Why talk

1. Life and death are in the power of the tongue

The tongue has the power to give life or death depending on what you say, and those who know how to use it eat its fruits. This means that unspoken words are powerless and lifeless. So just believing the word of God in your heart will not activate your potentials.

2. Channel of blessings

Speaking the word you believe is a channel through which God releases the blessings in the word. So until you say it, you won’t have it. Plus, that means until you say it, it’s still a dream, an unfulfilled wish.

3. God wants it from you

God really wants you to open your mouth so He can fill it with the words that will bless your life. Also, know that the words of your mouth control your destiny; as such, closing your mouth is preventing your destiny from being fulfilled. Therefore, if the Lord considers that speaking what you believe is important, you must pay attention to it.

4. Victory Channel

God subdues your enemies with the words of your mouth. Therefore, your victory over your enemies is on your tongue. Therefore, you must speak the word of God against your enemy in order for Him to effect your victory over the devil.

5. A test of your faith

If you believe, you will express it. This shows that you really have faith in God and His word, and that you believe that God will do even what He said. Therefore, what you cannot say, you do not believe.

6. Angels wait for your word.

The angels of God make the word of the Lord when they hear you say it. As such, you can only put your angels to work by speaking the word of God that you believe in your heart. So don’t make your angel superfluous, give him what to do by speaking the word of the Lord.

7. It is the wisdom of God to change

The dry bones in Ezekiel 37: 1-14 came to life when Ezekiel prophesied according to the Almighty’s instructions. As he prophesied, the bones obeyed his words until they became a great army. The situation around you won’t change forever until you consistently speak God’s word on it.

Biblical examples

David

During the fight between David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17), David first killed him with the word of his mouth before seeing him dead. First, Goliath cursed David with his words in the name of his gods, then David responded to his words with his own words. He told Goliath that the Lord would hand him over to him, and that he would beat him and cut off his head. And that was exactly what God did for him.

Therefore, you must not only declare the word of God over your life, you must also counteract the negative words against you with the word of God; never let the words of the enemy hang over your life and your destiny.

Jesus

When Jesus went to raise Jarius’s daughter from the dead, he met people crying and told them that the child was sleeping and not dead, and they ridiculed him. However, He came in and just took her by the hand and she got up (Matthew 9: 18-19, 23-25). A sleeping person only needs one touch to get up. Then, the words of Christ led her to sleep and she got up when Christ took her by the hand.

Conclution

It is not enough to believe the word of God in your heart, you must keep saying it until you see it fulfilled. Furthermore, the Lord has given you a mouth and a wisdom that your adversaries cannot contradict or resist. So, use the wisdom that God has given you and receive the prayers you want and your enemies will never defeat you with their words again.
