Grinding Horde Levels 10 – 20
At character level 11, you should already know where the Far Watch Post is in The Barrens. Go to the center of The Barrens and on the way find Grol’dom Farms. Then keep traveling until you reach the center of the Barrens at the Crossroads. Go to Zharg near the camp fence and do an easy quest to deliver meats to Ogrimmar through the flight master in the camp (Meats to Ogrimmar). Find Flight Master Crossroads. The second part is actually taking a flight to Orgrimmar (Ride to Ogrimmar). When you find the Ogrimmar Innkeeper and deliver the meats, the Innkeeper gives you a letter to take to Zharg, but first you must find Ogrimmar’s Flight Master (Doras the Windmaster Rider). Finding it isn’t hard since you found it on the way to Ogrimmar in the first place. He then gives you the final leg mission back to Crossroads (Return to Crossroads). Find Zharg in the camp and finish the mission.
Sergra, the leader of the Crossroads camp, wants you to kill enough plainstriders, ostriches, to get 7 spikes (the threat of the plainstrider). Sergra then instructs you to kill enough Zhevras to retrieve 4 Zhevra Hooves (The Zhevra).
In Crossroads he sees the alchemist troll Helbrim in the middle of the camp and gets his delivery mission to Ratchet, a port south of Crossroads (Wharfmaster Dizzywig). He earns points for finding the goblin Dizzywig at Ratchet’s Dock. Helbrim also asks you to find some mushrooms for him near the barren oases (fungal spores). You find the mushrooms in the Lush Oasis southwest of Crossroads. You can take out a few centaurs at the same time for other missions (Kolkar Bracers).
Gazrog, near the camp inn, wants you to kill 12 raptors for stealing his silver (Raptor Thieves).
Thork at Crossroads gives you a quest to fight the Razormane pigmen in the area. You must kill 8 thorn weavers, 8 water seekers and 3 hunters (Interrupt attacks). Hunters are tougher because they also have a wolf as a pet.
At level 12, you go to your class instructor in Orgrimmar, Sorek, who tells you to find the uzek veteran at the Far Watch Post, on the border of Durotar and the Barrens (uzek veteran). Uzzek then wants you to go find 5 Thunder Scales. Uzzek then tells you to find Thungrim Firegaze and the orc hermit on one of the hills in the Barrens (Thungrim Firegaze). Thungrim then challenges you to retrieve his iron box from the Razormane thieves on Thorn Hill (Forged Steel).
Meanwhile, Sergra in Crossroads wants you to kill the Marauders and gain 7 Marauder Legs after completing your Zhrevra (Marauders of the Barrens) quest.
On the path west of Crossroads you will find Rethgar’s base. He gives you a charge to kill Kolkar Centaurs while in the area (Kolkar Bracers).
Tonga at Crossroads asks you to find a power source leaking from one of the oases in the Barrens (The Forgotten Pools). You must get into the pool, dive under the water and swim until you find a bubbling crack at the bottom to complete the mission.
Level 13 requires 11,400 points. This is a routine level on anything that moves in the Barrens.
At level 14, Manrik in Crossroads wants you to find his wife lost in battle near Camp Tourajo (Lost in Battle). Manrik also hates Bristleback Razormane near Camp Tourajo and wants you to kill enough to get 60 fangs back. He does this while doing other quests in Razormane (Consumed by Hate).
The Crossroads Troll Apothecary wants you to make a delivery to Zamah in Thunder Bluff. You have 45 minutes to complete the quest (Apothecary Zamah). Simultaneously, Tonga at Crossroads wants you to take seeds and place them in a fissure in the Stagnant Oasis, southeast of the crossroads (The Stagnant Oasis).
The numerous quests continue with Tonga asking you to go kill Gap Turtles in the Oasis so she can examine them. She needs 8 shells (Altered Beings). He is then guided by Tonga to speak with the druid Hamaal Runetotem in Thunder Bluff (Hamaal Runetotem). She uses a flight master to get there fast. He is in the Hall of the Elders. Hamaal then tells you to talk to Nara Wildmane (Nara Wildmane). Nara is in the same store, so this is an easy search. Tonga also asks you to talk to Mura Runetotem in the Sepulchre. The Sepulcher is in the land of the undead, and you will have to return to Ogrimmar and take the airship to Tirisfal Glades to reach the Sepulcher (Mura Runetotem).
You find an empty barrel among a razormane’s loot. The solution is in Ratchet (Chen’s Empty Keg) when you find the orc brewmaster. The brewmaster then gives you a quest to get some of Chen’s beer. You need to get 5 Flatstrider Kidneys, 5 Prowler Tusks, and 1 Stormsnout Horn (Chen’s Empty Keg 2).
You meet Sputtervalve the Goblin near Ratchet’s flight master and he asks you to discover the Venture Company samoflange. The Venture Company site is north of Crossroads, near the mountains (Samophlange).
At level 16 to 18 you can earn a couple hundred points just by exploring the lands around Ratchet. The Goblin Mebok in Ratchet needs 5 Sunscale Scythe Raptor Horns (Raptor Horns). You must also kill 12 pirates and 6 gunboats south of Ratchet (Southsea Freebooters). Gazlowe then wants you to take a ledger to the dock (The Lost Shipment). The dockmaster tells him to return to Gazlowe with the answer (The Missing Shipment 2). Gazlow believes that the pirates stole the missing items, so he asks you to retrieve them (The Stolen Booty).
Thork at Crossroads charges you again to kill 8 Geomancers, 8 Defenders, and Greenig Karlsnout, the local Razormane leader (The Disruption Ends). Thork advises him to report to Kadrak at the Northern Barrens Lookout Post (Report to Kadrak).
Rethgar then tasks you with killing the Kolkar leader Barak Kodobane (Kolkar Leaders). Barak is located near the forgotten pools. Bring back Barak’s head. Rethgar wants you to get the head of Verog the centaur. It is located near the stagnant oasis (Verog the Dervish). He grinds on raptors, hyenas and centaurs.
Segra at Crossroads gives you his final warrior mission to kill the king of lions (Eechekayaa). The lion is located south of the Venture Co. mining company in the northern wastelands. So, Sergra decides it’s time for you to face the scythclaw raptors (The Angry Scythlaws). She grinds the birds of prey to finish level 18.
For level 19 and when you finish your Crossroads missions, Sergra asks you to find Jorn Skyseer at Camp Tourajo (Jorn Skyseer).
Jorn asks you to kill the King of the Raptors and return his fang to Jorn (Ishamuhale). The dead tree south of Razormane and east of the crossroads is his lair. He kills a zhevra for bait and then waits for it to show up. Jorn then wants you to kill the thunder lizards and come back with 3 blood samples (raged thunder lizards). Jorn then asks you to find and hunt a Thunderhawk and return its wings (Cry of the Thunderhawk). He only finds a hatchling Thunderhawk outside Camp Tourajo.
After killing the raptors near Crossroads, Gazrog is happy but still wants his silver. He instructs you to find the raptor nests south of Ratchet and get Stolen Silver from him. Finally, he fights the pirates on the merchant coast south of Ratchet to close level 19. Congratulations, you made it to level 20.
