Can you see what I can see? Transfiguration

In mediumistic circles, the phenomenon called transfiguration is where the face of the Spirit is seen in the face of another person. Usually this happens to a person known to be a spirit medium. Take a group of people, sit them in the dark, and ask them to watch a spirit medium practiced in this form of spiritual communication. For the transfiguration to occur, everyone present must witness this strange and spiritually demanding phenomenon. I imagine that in the Spirit World, we are talking about the earth plane here, it is considered to have a serious connection to Spirit and is exhausting for both souls.

So what exactly does it look like? The faces of those loved ones do not always cross, no, it can be any spirit of passage that wants to be seen. Kind of I’m passing by to say hello. I didn’t always call to tell you that I love you. Apparently, from the point of view of the spiritual medium who experiences such a transfiguration, then it is not uncommon for them to experience sensations on their face. These sensations could have to do with feeling the shape or feature of some person on his face, the sensation of facial hair on the skin as in the appearance of a beard, if the spirit that materializes had a beard in his life.

Before the transfiguration takes place, the spirit medium generally enters a trance state. An altered state of consciousness to allow an easier transfiguration of the Spirit. Successful transfiguration is said to have to take place in the dark because in many cases a glutinous substance known as ectoplasm, sensitive to light, is said to appear and take shape in the traits of the Spirit trying to communicate. This ectoplasm cannot be more than a hazy veil that appears on or just in front of the Spirit Medium’s face.

The materialized image may appear translucent or the medium’s face may disappear completely, replaced by the features of the Spirit. It is not just the face that can be affected by the transfiguration, other parts of the body can be affected. The body can change in shape, size and gender. Additionally, more than one face may appear in rapid succession.

The important thing to keep in mind is that all members of the group who witness this activity must see the transfiguration at the same time for it to be named as such. However, if only one or two see it and no other person present can, then it is more likely to be known as clairvoyant transfiguration. In this case, people who tend to be clairvoyant can only see the transfiguration. Clairvoyant: indicates the art of seeing beyond the five senses.
