Five Best Sex Positions to Get Pregnant Quickly

Before we start discussing the best position to get pregnant, let’s first clarify one important thing: you can get pregnant in any position: man on top, woman on top, standing, sitting, lying down, or on all fours. Pregnancy occurs when male sperm enters the woman’s vagina and meets an egg on its way to the uterus through the fallopian tube. Ideally, this is possible with any sexual position you assume.

However, unfortunately, some couples find it difficult to conceive for various reasons, including a low or low sperm count. In some cases, such as when nature needs a boost, a little push from you and your partner can go a long way toward getting pregnant. When it comes to the best position to get pregnant, the general rule of thumb is that the male sperm should be deposited as close to the female cervix as possible.

This has something to do with the lifespan of the female egg and male sperm. Once an egg is released from the ovary, a stage also known as ovulation, it begins its way through the fallopian tubes to the uterus. A released egg generally survives only 24 hours, while a sperm can last three to five days in the female body. As such, the egg has to be as close to the egg as possible so that they can meet and bond together before it dies.

While not many people will agree that sexual positions have anything to do with getting pregnant, the logical inference is that it makes sense to assume the position that can help the sperm meet the egg in the shortest time possible.

This is especially true when it comes to couples who have problems or difficulties conceiving. That said, the first “best position to get pregnant” suggestion is to avoid positions that least expose the cervix to male sperm and generally defy gravity, such as standing, sitting, or female-on-top sex. When trying to conceive, it is best to limit the amount of sperm that flows out of the vagina.

The woman’s hips should also be positioned in such a way that the released sperm are kept inside, giving her enough time to swim up to the female cervix.

Instead, consider the following positions:

1. The missionary position, or man on top, is said to be the best position to get pregnant. This is because this particular position allows for the deepest penetration possible, making it possible for sperm to be deposited closer to the cervix.

2. It may also be helpful to elevate the hips, which can be done by placing a pillow behind her, because this exposes the woman’s cervix to the amount of semen that the man can release.

3. The rear entry position where the man enters the woman from behind is also a recommended position. In this position, sperm are also deposited closer to the cervix, helping to increase the chances of conception.

4. You can also try having sex while lying next to each other. This position also causes the greatest exposure of the cervix to male sperm.

5. Finally, although this has nothing to do with sexual positions, there is also research that suggests the importance of the female orgasm in conception. According to studies, the female orgasm causes contractions that could push sperm towards the cervix. The lesson: have fun while trying to conceive.
