How to recognize stress: three simple tests

Do you feel stressed? Stress is the main cause of disease. When you realize this you can understand that it is important to take a moment to ask yourself if you are prone to stress.

– Do you feel your body tense at times when you forget to think about relaxing?

– Can’t stop the thoughts in your mind anymore? Do your thoughts go round and round?

– Put your attention on your breathing. Is your breathing short and high?

– Do you get angry when something disturbs your plans?

– Do you do less than you planned?

– Do you feel stressed when you think about all the things you still have to do?

If all of this applies to you, you are in dire need of stress management,

Even if only one point applies, you should seriously consider it.

How to recognize and qualify stress

1. Is your life very busy?

2. Do you hate all those things you have to do?

3. Don’t like to be busy?

4. Do you feel that it is terrible not to have enough time?

5. Do you eat when you are tired instead of resting?

6. Do you long for another space and time?

7. Do you cry or get angry more than once a week?

8. When you get up in the morning, do all your tasks weigh heavily on you?

9. When you get up in the morning, do you feel like you have to hurry?

10. Do you yearn for a vacation?

How high is your stress?

If once yes, there is already a little stress.

If you choose yes more than five times: you must be careful.

Ten times yes – if you don’t take action, you’re likely to get burned.

Additional tests

1. Do you have a lot of free time?

2. Do you enjoy your life and the things you do?

3. Are you happy to be busy?

4. Are you glad you have enough time to do the things you want to do?

5. Do you rest easily enough?

6. Are you happy with your life as it is?

7. Do you have very happy feelings at least once a week and do you feel cheerful one or more times a week?

8. Do you wake up happy and full of energy to start your work?

9. Do you wake up happy to know that you have a brand new day?

10. Are you very happy with your house and place?

If you vote only once yes, you are very stressed.

If you choose more than five yeses, your life is not overly stressed.

But only when you have ten times yes, you don’t have to worry.

In other cases, rest and follow some advice on stress.
