Questions to ask about your value system

What is your value system?

Questions to ask about your value system.

Is your goal aligned with your highest values? Why is that important?

Today’s opportunities are endless. Guess what, they all work! The question is: will it work for you? Let me ask you a better question: WILL YOU make it work? Let me help you clarify the important questions to ask yourself about values!

It doesn’t matter what stage of your life you are in right now. Perhaps you have already made up your mind and still feel like success is nowhere to be found?

There are many reasons why you can’t be successful and people are becoming more honest with themselves. They don’t blame others or the system, they know it’s something they don’t do, haven’t tried yet, or don’t know yet.

People keep changing and trying different things. Enrolling in more and more courses, another online program, joining different groups hoping to get them where they want to be. They are looking for help to do it. To have responsibility, someone to control them, to give them that push!

Yes, everything helps. We all need to learn, get the support and guidance to get there as quickly as possible. As long as you’re not jumping from one thing to another.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I was the same way. I even think that it is almost necessary to try and try different things to know if it is the right one for you or not.

Why is the answer in your value system?

Your goal has to be aligned with your highest values. Otherwise, you don’t want it bad enough. What does it mean in your language? You don’t really want it!

Yes, mentally you understand. Everything makes sense, your brain understands why you need to do it, but if your subconscious, your inner voice is not convinced, you are not going to do it. You have just created an internal conflict within yourself and a cycle of self-blame for not doing the things you know you SHOULD do.

Maybe your brain wants it, but deep down inside you, you don’t want it.

You haven’t found the real reason that would align with your highest values and the tasks connected to your goal.

If you really want something, you always find a way. It does not mean that it will work the first time or that you will not have any challenges, that you will not have to work hard.

It means it won’t stop if it doesn’t work on the 50th try. No obstacle or challenge will stop you. You’ll keep going because it’s part of who you are and it makes you feel good.

The real problem is that people don’t really know what they really want! They compare themselves to the illusion or false images of what they should have or should do because everyone else around them has or does that. Many people are afraid to face reality, the real them.

If you are aligned with your real self and your highest values, you will not need any push, you will not procrastinate, and every day you will wake up with the main thought: “how to make it work, what else can I improve”. How can I help others?

What is the solution?

1. Be honest with yourself.

2. Know yourself, be clear about your values by taking your FREE value test here.

3. Do what you love, what inspires you, what you would do for free and do it anyway – your life is the clear indication of where your true values lie. If you do something just for money, you won’t last long.

4. Not all the tasks you have to do to get where you want to be are fun, enjoyable. But they must be done. Especially in the early stages, when you have to do everything yourself due to the limited budget.

Write down at least 50 reasons why and how this particular task can help you and take you to another level. Once you are clear about its benefits and connect the task to your goal, your why, all tasks suddenly become easier and more enjoyable to do. Once you understand how much it helps you on your journey to get where you want to be. If it doesn’t help and the particular task is unbearable, just outsource. You prefer to focus your energy and time on the things you love and are good at.

5. Be kind to yourself. Your current step that you have taken so far does not have to be your destiny yet, but it will certainly open another door for you, new opportunities. Finally. So keep your options open and keep going :-).

6. Your value system changes as you grow older. So remember to take your test from time to time to make sure you get your priority task done and live a full life.
