If you are considering a more transparent and open environment, then gyprocing, which is obviously not transparent, is not right for you. You may want to opt for glass partitions and glass walls instead.

Although gyprocing is a relatively inexpensive option, there are several drawbacks that might put you off. First of all, it is prone to damage from exposure to water. While this could be offset by the use of covalent waterproofing and thus effectively insulate it from potential water damage. If unfortunately you were not offered that option or your waterproof layer is punctured, the water can cause the wall to swell and disintegrate, which will require immediate replacement to avoid possible structural damage.
